Sunrider Products
Why Choose Sunrider When There Are So Many Choices?
All Sunrider® products are based on the Philosophy of Regeneration™ which is one of the key reasons for Sunrider’s value.
This principle is the differentiating factor for the products concept, function, and quality. For example, a house and a bridge can use similar building materials—concrete, steel, wood, and stone. Yet, they are completely different in looks and function.
The difference is in the design or blueprint. The Philosophy of Regeneration™ is the blueprint for every Sunrider® product. Since each product has a unique blueprint, the formulas are different from anyone else’s even if they were to use the same ingredients.
The Philosophy of Regeneration™ is based on four principles
1. Nourish, Balance, and Cleanse. When the body is nourished and cleansed it can reach optimal balance. According to Chinese philosophy yin nourishes the body and yang cleanses. These are part of the dual functions in life like breathing in and breathing out.
It’s like this. There are five horses pulling a cart. The five horses represent the body’s five major systems. The cart, or your body, will run smoothly only when the five horses run in harmony, when they’re in balance. One horse, or system, running too fast or too slow will tip the balance of the cart.
Balance is therefore the guiding principle of life.
2. Food not chemicals for the body. Our body is designed to recognize food and not chemicals as nourishment in order to sustain life. You can break down food into protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, etc. If you then mix these parts back together they are no longer the whole food from which they came. What is missing is the life structure that your body recognizes as food.
Eating chemicals such as protein powders and multivitamins will over time cause your body to become malnourished because it has a difficult time knowing what to do with all the isolated chemicals. Not only that, when consuming too many isolated chemicals some nutrients need for optimal health are missing. Over time isolated nutrients will cause your body to become unbalanced.
3. Variety. Our society, whether it is individuals, dieticians/nutritionists or nutritional companies tend to focus on one or two ingredients. Why? Because it’s simpler that way. If they can convince you to take this or that pill and all your ills will magically go away, you probably will believe them. It appears like a magic bullet.
Unfortunately, no single ingredient or food is perfect. Each food has a strong point and a weak point. For some time many people thought that eating a lot vitamins and minerals would solve their problems and that there would be no negative effects.
Research has now indicated that one can have too much of a good thing. Too much vitamin C, vitamin A or E can cause serious health problems. Vitamins are essential to life but they are best obtained through a variety of whole foods.
4. Formulation and concentration. Each food has a strong and a weak point. If they are combined for maximum benefit they will work together to create a stronger food combination.
This requires expertise, knowledge and study. Chinese culture has 5,000 years of experimenting and studying plants and herbs in combination.
There are thousands and thousands of different kinds of formulas. But even in the Chinese culture, the formulas focus on curing symptoms and disease, and often contradict each other.
Dr. Tei Fu Chen, founder of Sunrider® is the recipient of this ancient knowledge. He has carefully studied the formulas that previous generations used. But he said “I walked away from the philosophy of “curing” to the philosophy of balance—The Philosophy of Regeneration™.”
With the Sunrider® foods and products he has elevated and transformed the traditional use of plants to optimize health.
This independent thinking and creativity is light years ahead of the current “cure” mentality.
Sunrider® foods and products not only have unique formulas, but are concentrated for effectiveness. Foods have a lot of fiber, water, and other ingredients that dilute the beneficial effects. This is not to say that fiber and water are not crucial to health and life.
Today many products are concentrated because we know that we are not getting the nutrients from foods that we once did.
But the big problem is that when most people concentrate an ingredient they end up concentrating the less helpful ingredients along with the beneficial ones.
This is why Sunrider® developed a trade-secret manufacturing process that extracts and concentrates the beneficial nutrients still in their whole food form while minimizing the negative constituents.
Sunrider® researches, develops, and manufactures all their products according to The Philosophy of Regeneration™. These high quality products are truly unique and rejuvenate the body.
