You Can Make Healthy Food Choices
In today’s fast paced world there are so many tantalizing foods to appease your cravings and time crunch it’s easy to fall prey to temptation. After you feel guilty or worse yet, you beat yourself up saying that you’re a bad person.
You already know it’s important to make healthy food choices. But it’s not easy to understand what’s really going to make your body hum. Do you know what foods your body needs to give you a sense of well being?
And there’s so much hype and advertising in the food industry, it’s hard to know what to believe and whom to trust.
Besides there’s so much information about how and what you should eat, it can be overwhelming. Even more critical is how do you know what’s true.
You are unique. What foods work for you may not be the best for someone else.
Recently I did a survey and asked people what their number one issue with food was.
Within the wide variety of answers there were several distinct trends: cravings for sugar, salt and baked goods, eating junk food, and digestive issues.
What this tells me is that for these people their body is out of balance.
Only three people were concerned about eating healthy so they could fight disease which means they are into prevention rather than reaction.
What’s even more interesting is that every day I hear someone say “I’m eating well but I can’t understand why I don’t feel well”.

If we deprive ourselves and restrict calories our bodies go into starvation mode. When we again increase our food intake our bodies will conserve rather than utilize the food we eat. What’s more if we deprive ourselves we feel resentful which just makes our body work less efficiently, particularly our gall bladder.
4. How to eat without feeling guilty or beating yourself up that you’ve failed again and eaten something even when you’ve said “That’s bad for me”.
5. Key strategies to implement the magic formula to maximize your nutrition while making conscious step by step changes in your daily eating habits. Baby steps are the key.

The Time To Get Started Is Now…You Can Make Healthy Food Choices
Eating consciously starts with the awareness of what food is and is not, along with what food does in our body so you can love food instead of fearing it as an enemy.
You Can Make Healthy Food Choices is a 3 week experiential online workshop.
It’s limited to 17 people because the Workshop is hands on and I give you individualized support and coaching.
Once you have registered here’s what will happen:
1. You will receive a Transformation Scorecard to complete. This will give you the context of your eating patterns and habits in relation to your overall health.
2. You will also receive instructions to keep a food diary which you will do for one week preferably before the first class.
Your diary will be extremely helpful to have on hand as you go through the Workshop. It will also form the basis for making healthier food choices and what areas you need to consider detoxifying.
3. As soon as you have paid for You Can Make Healthy Food Choices you will receive information on how to access the weekly teleseminars and replays.
Here’s how each week will flow:
1. We will spend 90 minutes together each Tuesday evening starting May 17th for three weeks.
2. A worksheet along with handouts will be emailed to you after the weekly teleseminar. You are encouraged to send in your weekly worksheets to me for feedback before the next class.
3. At the beginning of the second and third class there will be a debriefing about the homework.
This can be a very powerful time of sharing experiences. Of course it will be completely voluntary, but accountability in doing the work will engage you and enhance your experience.
4. All sessions will be recorded and available within an hour of the end of the class for those who were unable to make the call or who want to listen in again.
Week 1 will focus on:
- Foods that nourish our bodies including nutrient dense super foods from ancient healing traditions
- Foods that lead to degenerative and lifestyle diseases
- Cause of allergies and intolerances to food
- Portions and proportions
- How your food shopping habits and choices affect your health
- How food marketing, agribusiness and even the health food industry has influenced your food choices.
Week 2 will focus on:
- Foods that are causing toxic build up in your body
- How to support your bodies cleansing process and remove toxic build up.
- How to create a continuous cleaning habit for your body.
Week 3 will focus on:
- How balance creates wellness and eliminates disease
- Solidifying your new habits
- Creating your next step; what it will look like and what kind of support you need to achieve it.
