1. Article: Discover The Power In Your Story

The universe is made of an infinite number of patterns and not just random bits of energy. Since we’re part of the universe we too are made of infinite patterns.

Not all our patterns are within our being but because we are connected with these infinite patterns, we are not the finite limited creatures we often view ourselves to be.

We are the infinite universe connected by these beautiful waves of energy.

Some patterns show up as physical matter and some do not. The intertwined patterns become our physical body while others are more ephemeral and can only be experienced through their actions or results, like our thoughts, emotions and our heart.

At a higher level is our soul whose patterns travel from lifetime to lifetime and change as we evolve in our journey to our ultimate Self Realization.

We often say that we shouldn’t let our past impact us, and that we need to feel it’s just dust beneath our feet.

That is true, but only if we can transform our past.  Any thing that is unresolved or suppressed from our past will eventually spill over like a cup that is overflowing.

But our past can become a springboard to power gains so that we have plenty of  energy to consciously create instead of having our past be a power drain which results in illness and disease.

So how do we look at our life so that it can empower us to create the future of our dreams?

I wrote an article on this topic in the current issue of Ottawa Natural Magazine. It was also duplicated in the inaugural issue of Montreal Natural Magazine.

It’s called: Discover The Power In Your Story

You can read the September issue of Ottawa Natural online. My article is on page 45/46

It’s called Woman’s True Power. I’ll be sending you more information on this next week.

We will address in practical terms, how you can discover the positive power in your story by identifying what hasn’t worked for you in the past, reframing it and creating the life you were meant to live.

If you would prefer you can read “Discover The Power In Your Story” at my website.

2. Question: How can looking at my past create the future I desire?

Answer: Following This 5 Step Process

Step 1: The first step is to create a map of your life, which includes all the events and things that happened to you. Include the good, the not so good, and even those events that were traumatic.

This may not be easy for some of you, but only by accepting the past can we embrace it and transform or enlighten it.

Creating a life map is called a mind map.

I have found that creating my life map was an incredibly powerful experience. It brought so much clarity to my life.

Now I use my original life map to see how much I’ve progressed in dealing with my issues as well as how much more joy I have in my life.

I believe that life mapping is a critical part of our transformation journey.

If there is enough interest, I will offer a several week tele-course on life mapping. Together we will create your life map, so you can use it for your next step forward.

Let me know if you are interested. Send me an email: joycefriesen@novalisintegra.com

Step 2: The next step is to look at those events on your life map that still have an emotional charge for you. How they are impacting your thoughts and actions right now?

Step 3: Take the negative events and put them in a sequence of occurrences from the present back to the first one you have on your map.

Step 4: Take all the positive events and list all the good feelings around them. These will be the experiences to build on to create your future.

Step 5: Begin with the most current negative issue, event, trauma or drama and transform it so that it becomes your friend instead of your enemy. There are several different therapies and modalities that can support you on this process.

Two to get you started are: First Steps to Health and Sequential Therapy

3. Inspirational Quotes on Transformation

“I have always believed, and I still believe, that whatever good or bad fortune may come our way we can always give it meaning and transform it into something of value.” Hermann Hesse

“The world and everything in it is being strained to the breaking point…strained to the point of transformation. It’s our being brought to a point… closer to contact with our essential nature, to the truth of our own experience.” Tom Hurley

“Transformation is a series of small steps forward or small acts of positive will in a process of continuous improvement and self discovery”. Joyce Friesen

“Do not avoid
But transform
The things that need
Transformation.”  Sri Chinmoy

“Personal transformation can and does have global effects. As we go, so goes the world, for the world is us. The revolution that will save the world is ultimately a personal one.” Marianne Williamson
